Every time you deploy a Flow, the canvas at that moment is saved as a version. Versions are immutable: once saved, they’re frozen. Nora manages the LIVE pointer: the version currently serving production traffic. Versions make risk manageable. You can deploy confidently because rollback is instant, and you can review clearly because every deploy records its author, time, and note.

The version list

The Versions page in the sidebar shows the full history for the workspace.
  • Flows / Improvements tabs the Flows tab lists Flow deploys; the Improvements tab collects approved Improvement deploys.
  • Type filter All · Deploy · Autosave.
  • Flow filter narrow the list to one Flow.
  • Status the version currently serving production traffic carries a LIVE badge. LIVE isn’t necessarily the highest number: after a rollback, an older version is LIVE again.

Two kinds of snapshots

  • Deploy a version created with the deploy button. Numbered per Flow starting at ver.1, with a release note.
  • Autosave a backup Nora creates automatically when you restore a version to the Draft. It has a short ID instead of a number and note. The Draft that was about to be overwritten is preserved as an “Auto-saved before restore” snapshot, so restoring never loses work.
Ordinary canvas edits auto-save into the Draft but do not accumulate in the version list. Only deploys and restores leave versions.

Version detail

Click a row to open the detail panel:
  • Overview version number, LIVE status, author, created time, release note.
  • Preview the canvas as it looked at that moment.
  • Changes since the previous deploy a per-block summary of what was added or modified.
  • Actions roll back to this version, or restore it to the Draft.
  • Open canvas jump to the Flow’s canvas.

The LIVE pointer

Each Flow has one LIVE pointer: the version its external API and webhook triggers execute. Deploying moves the pointer to the new version; rolling back moves it to an older one. Either way the versions themselves never change: only the pointer moves.

The Improvements tab

Versions → Improvements collects Improvement deploys only. When an improvement is approved, it ships as a numbered version recorded with its diff, author, and eval score, and can be rolled back with one click. Loop-generated and manual improvements are counted separately.
