Response limits - Nora

Settings → Response limits sets size caps on the data that moves between blocks in a run. Oversized tool responses and handoffs inflate context, cost, and latency.

The four limits

Limit	Default	Applies to
LLM tool result	128 KB	What a tool call can return into the model’s context.
Agent handoff	8 KB	The payload passed when one agent hands off to another.
Action output	8 KB	What an Action block emits downstream.
HTTP error preview	1 KB	How much of a failing HTTP response body is kept for display.

Values are in KB. Save applies them workspace-wide; Reset to defaults restores the values above.
